Important Notice: Due to the half day scheduled for staff development and the prospect of more snow tomorrow, all West Haven Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. This will give the city additional time to clean bus stops and plow roads for those who are still snowed in. With this decision, we expect a full day of school on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Additional updates will be provided as they become available.

Important Notice: Due to excessive snowfall and to allow the city additional time to remove snow and clear bus stops, all West Haven Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24, 2026. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide additional updates as they become available.

Important Notice: Due to the expected snowfall this weekend, Mayor Borer has declared a state of emergency. As a result, all West Haven Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 23.
