Last night, the WHHS Chorus performed a “Songs of Many Nations” concert in the auditorium! Congratulations to all our students, and Choral Director Jason Thomas, on an excellent job!











On Friday, the WHHS Senior Class hosted Mr. Westie for the first time post-Covid! Mr. Westie is a tradition that started in 1994 to raise funds for the senior prom and senior picnic. Congratulations to the winner, Aeden Coe (pictured with the crown)!

Students from Mrs. Wentworth's class are practicing plein air drawing during Miss O'Brien's art class. En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air” and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. These students have been studying nature drawings and finally get to show off their talents while enjoying the spring weather!

On Monday, the West Haven High School Theatre Workshop performed “Snow White and the Seven Entrepreneurs” during its Children’s Theatre Field Trip for all our elementary schools!

Students in 8th-grade STEM at Bailey Middle School designed and constructed scale model bridges, while students in 8th-grade Science designed and built penguin homes to prevent heat transfer (melting of “penguin” ice cubes)!
