Jolie Froehlich | West Haven High School | Algebra 1 Teacher
About: I have been teaching in the West Haven Public School System for 7 years. My first year was spent completing an internship in the math department, and the following 6 years have been as an Algebra 1 teacher. I am also the head coach of the Unified Sports team at WHHS, now in my 3rd year as head coach after spending 2 years as an assistant.
Hobbies: I love to travel to different Caribbean Islands, go to the gym, listen to the Jonas Brothers, and drink diet coke.
Fun Fact: My fun fact is that I grew up in West Haven and attended West Haven Schools my entire life: Mackrille, Bailey, and WHHS. I also love sneakers and probably have over 40 pairs.

What Motivates You to Come to Work Each Day? My students motivate me every day to be the best teacher I can be. Seeing them grow both academically and personally is the reason why teaching is the best job in the world. If I can get them to leave 1% better than they came, I did my job.
What Makes Your School Special to You? What makes this school special to me is that it’s the place I grew up and attended myself. It means so much to be able to give back to a place that gave me so much. I take great pride in our school, our students, and our community. I truly love West Haven. There’s no place like home. As always, West Haven vs Everyone.
Molly Deptulski | Bailey Middle School | Health Teacher
About: This is my 12th year teaching and my 5th year teaching Health at Bailey. Before this, I spent 7 years teaching Physical Education for grades K–8 in both New Haven and Milford.
Hobbies: My hobbies include golf, softball (playing and coaching), shopping, swimming, and going to the beach in the summer. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially my 2‑year‑old daughter, Juliana.
Fun Fact: I am an aunt and have 4 nieces but no nephews, which means lots of little girls to shop for in my family.

What Makes Your School Special to You? Bailey has the best community ever. I feel truly lucky to come to work each day and be surrounded by such a compassionate staff who show up every day for our students.
