Senior Noelle Lawrence, wearing #23 for the WHHS Girls Varsity Basketball team, is this week’s Athlete of the Week.
Lawrence delivered an outstanding performance in the season opener against Stamford, finishing with 26 points, 6 steals, and 6 rebounds. She was also nominated for GameTimeCT’s Girls Athlete of the Week, highlighting her impact on both ends of the floor.
The Girls Varsity Basketball team’s next game is Saturday at 2:45pm at home against Hamden in an SCC matchup. Lawrence will be a key player to watch as the Blue Devils look to get back in the win column.
