This week’s Athlete of the Week is freshman Arianna Rose of the West Haven girls’ swim team.
Arianna delivered an incredible performance by qualifying for States in the 500-yard freestyle, recording a time under six minutes — an impressive achievement for any swimmer, let alone a freshman.
Arianna will be a name to watch for the rest of her time on the Blue Devils swim team.
