This week’s Athlete of the Week is sophomore CJ Sutton, wearing #11 for West Haven and playing tight end and linebacker on the varsity football team.
CJ had an impressive performance in a tight matchup against Fairfield Prep, recording 15 tackles on defense and four key receptions totaling 46 yards on offense.
The Blue Devils are back in action next Friday for an SCC showdown against Cheshire. With a week of rest and a motivated team eager to get back in the win column, it’s shaping up to be an exciting game. Look for CJ to once again be a key contributor on both sides of the ball.
