Today, West Haven High School proudly hosted its annual Scholar Athlete Recognition Ceremony. To earn this distinguished recognition, students must participate in a varsity-level sport and maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher. We are thrilled to announce that 65 West Haven athletes met these high standards and were honored for their outstanding achievements in both academics and athletics.
A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club members for joining us on stage, along with Co-Athletic Directors Joe Morrell and Mike Anquillare, and our inspiring guest speaker, Mrs. Joanie Amato Jones, WHHS Class of 2004 Scholar Athlete and current WHHS Math teacher.
