Today, Brittany Figueroa visited Seth G. Haley Elementary School to share her book What is Kind? with our students. A dedicated 5th grade reading and writing teacher for 15 years, Brittany led an engaging and interactive session with our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes.
She walked students through the writing and illustration process and introduced them to Felicity the Fox, the main character in her book who goes on a journey to discover the true meaning of kindness.
It was a wonderful and meaningful lesson for our young learners. We sincerely thank Brittany for her time and inspiration!
