On May 6, students from our school news team had an exciting opportunity to tour the ESPN Headquarters in Bristol. Guided by Amy Harrigan, the Supervisor of Studio Operations, the students explored various studios and control rooms. They engaged in discussions with several editors and sound technicians, gaining insights into the sports media industry.
After the tour, Ms. Harrigan shared with news team adviser Jennifer Cummings that she and her colleagues were impressed by the students' enthusiasm and thoughtful questions.
This enriching experience was made possible by the generous donations from local sponsors, including Westies Nutrition, Pinpoint Optics, and Cositas Ricas, as well as teachers Scott Farrace, Caitlin Ripa, and Jennifer Neider. A heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to this unforgettable trip!
