The West Haven High School/Sacred Heart Academy co-op girls' ice hockey team defeated top-seeded Amity/Cheshire/North Haven, 2-1, on Wednesday night in the SCC Semifinals.
With the win, #4 WH/SHA has advanced to the 2024 SCC Championship Game and will play #3 Hamden co-op on Friday, February 23rd at Bennett Rink (West Haven High School). The puck is scheduled to drop at 7 p.m.
WH/SHA reached the finals by defeating #5 Masuk on Monday, February 19 in the First Round of the SCC Tournament, 3-2 (2OT), before upsetting #1 Amity/Cheshire/NH on Wednesday.
