This summer, several West Haven High School students will be involved in programs offered by Yale Pathways to Science.

Those involved in the Pathways Summer Laboratory Research Internships, a six-week internship in different laboratories including pediatrics, are the following: Rawasy Almaksoudi, Iris Chen, Kadidja Morou, Mahnoor Mustafa, and Ayannah Obas, who was also accepted to Yale University.

The students involved in the Yale Pathways to Science Summer Scholars Program are the following: Aaron Abraham, Rawasy Almaksoudi, Monserrat Acoltzi, Eshwar Balakumar, Iris Chen, Johnny Chen, Isabella Criscio, Daniel Davis, Ehsanullah Hadi, Javon Huang, Mir Wais Ibtikar, Sadaqah Kelley, Makaylah Marfo, Paula Mendoza, Evelyn Morales-Espinoza, Kadidja Morou, Mahnoor Mustafa, Aisha Omer, Brandon Sihaphong, Alexia Cachay Sosa, Peter VanBrederode, and Shemar Williams. This is the largest number of WHHS students to participate in the program.

Additionally, Angelina Mendes will participate in the new Yale Pathways to Arts & Humanities Summer Scholars program, and Nala Diarrassouba and Katrina Reyes will be involved in the new Frederic Roberts Photography Programs, an eight-day intensive overnight program focusing on photojournalism.
