The top two seniors in the West Haven High School Class of 2023 were announced on Friday, April 28, during the annual Valedictorian and Salutatorian Parade.
Congratulations to the Class of 2023 Valedictorian, Vittoria Favia (left), and the Class of 2023 Salutatorian, Yaju Pradhan (right). Vittoria plans to attend Rutgers University upon graduation while Yaju is looking to attend either Wesleyan University or Villanova University.
The two seniors were surprised when the drumline, the school counseling department, and Principal Dana Paredes visited them in their English class to announce the news.
