This week’s Game of the Week features a battle of the Havens. On Saturday, January 10, West Haven takes on SCC rival North Haven at 1pm. Bennett Rink is expected to be packed with fans and alumni as the program celebrates 100 years of West Haven High School Hockey. West Haven enters the matchup with a 1-4 record, but that mark is misleading. The Blue Devils have been competitive all season, dropping multiple one goal games against two strong opponents. They face another tough test tonight against Cheshire before turning their focus to Saturday’s showdown with the Nighthawks.
North Haven comes in at 4-1 and will be looking to even the score after the last meeting between the two teams in December 2024, when West Haven earned a 4-2 victory.
With a full house, historic significance for the Westies, motivation to get back on track, and North Haven seeking revenge, this is a game you will not want to miss.
