This week’s West Haven Public Schools Athlete of the Week is Evan Jones. The boys varsity baseball team went 3-0 last week, with Evan going 7-for-12 at the plate. He drove in 7 RBIs and scored 2 runs.
Evan also pitched during extra innings in the win over Jonathan Law, throwing 2 scoreless innings on the mound.
Evan is committed to Wheaton College, where he will continue both his academic and athletic career. Best of luck to Evan and the Blue Devils baseball team as they head into the playoffs.
