Home to West Haven High School Football, Boys & Girls Soccer, and Boys & Girls Lacrosse.

Ken Strong Stadium was built in the 1960s with a natural grass field and a stone track. In May 1989, Ken Strong Stadium reopened after a $3.08 million renovation which included a new sand-filled turf, a drainage system, lights, a running track and a scoreboard. In July 2001, the sand-filled turf was replaced with Astro Turf and in June 2009 the Astro Turf was replaced with state-of-the-art infill synthetic turf .

Ken Strong Stadium seats 5,000 and is lighted for evening games.  It is host to:

  • CIAC state football championships

  • CIAC boys and girls lacrosse championships

  • CIAC boys and girls soccer championships

  • SCC lacrosse championship
