West Haven Public Schools is providing breakfasts and lunches free of charge under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) through the Child Nutrition Department. The students in West Haven will continue to receive free benefits throughout the school year. The school districts that are in jeopardy of their funds running out are not on the CEP program. All West Haven Public Schools will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch for the duration of the school year.

This week the Bailey Student Council & Bettering Bailey Clubs will be collecting non-perishable food items for WHEAT and "new" toy donations for the "Toys for Joy" collection, which benefits the West Haven community. On Friday students that donate an item or $1 will be able to wear a hat in school.

Members of the Bailey Middle School and West Haven High School’s Interact Club, as well as students from the University of New Haven’s Rotaract Club, made Christmas ornaments as a group to decorate two trees on the West Haven Green for the city’s upcoming holiday festival! The students did an incredible job making the ornaments!
