 DIRECTIONS TO WEST HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL

FITZGERALD SPORTS COMPLEX:

John “Whitey” Piurek Baseball Field

FROM ROUTE 34: Take a right at Forest Road (Nissan car dealership on right)—continue going straight to Route 1. At light cross over Route 1 to Campbell Avenue (Hess gas station on your left). Keep going straight down Campbell Avenue until you reach Captain Thomas Boulevard. Take a right and continue on Capt. Thomas until you see Turk’s Restaurant. Take a right at Turk’s (Dyke Street) and follow this road into the WHHS complex.

FROM I-95 NORTH & SOUTH: Exit 42 (Saw Mill Road). At the end of the exit take a right onto Saw Mill Road. Continue on this road (past the WH Police Dept.; under railroad bridge) which will lead into Kelsey Ave. Go straight on Kelsey Avenue (you will pass Painter Park on your right) until you get to Captain Thomas Boulevard. Take a right onto Capt. Thomas and then another quick right (Dyke Street). Follow this road into the WHHS Complex.

EDWARD L. BENNETT RINK-Boys' & Girls' Hockey

Follow directions to Kelsey Avenue (past Painter Park). Take right at 4-way Stop signs (Circle Street) into WHHS complex. Bennett Rink will be on the right.

PAINTER PARK (NOYES FIELD- JV Baseball) (LOWER FIELD-JV Softball)

Follow Directions to Kelsey Avenue--As you go up hill, Noyes Field will be on your right.

PAINTER PARK - Boys' & Girls' Tennis

Follow directions to Kelsey Avenue. Take a right at Playground--continue straight ahead to tennis courts.

WARLEY FIELD - JV Softball

From Biondi Softball Field, West Haven High School--Take a right onto Dyke Street to stop sign. Cross over Captain Thomas Blvd and take a left. Continue straight past three lights until you can go no further (Washington Avenue). Take a right and follow the shore road (Beach Street)until you see Chick's Drive-In. Take a left; Warley Field is behind the parking lot.

From I-95 South--Exit 43 (First Avenue). Take a left (First Avenue). Continue straight down First Avenue towards the shore which will lead into beach Street. You will pass skateboard park on your right. Take a right a Chick's Drive-In--Warley Field is behind the parking lot.

From I-95 North--Exit 44 (Kimberly Avenue). Bear left off exit and take a left at second light (First Avenue). Continue straight down First Avenue towards the shore which will lead into Beach Street. You will pass skateboard park on your right. Take a right at Chick's Drive-In--Warley Field is behind the parking lot.

 MIDDLE SCHOOLS:

BAILEY MIDDLE SCHOOL (106 Morgan Lane; 937-4380):

From I-95 South: Take Exit 42 (Saw Mill Road). At end of exit take a left. Go to 1st light and take left onto Allings Crossing Road. Go to the end of Allings Crossing Road and take a right onto Shingle Hill Road. Continue until you reach the end of Shingle Hill--Bailey will be directly in front of you.

From I-95 North: Take Exit 42 (Saw Mill Road). At the end of exit take a left. Go to third light and take a left onto Allings Crossing Road. Go to the end of Allings Crossing Road and take a right onto Shingle Hill Road. Continue until you reach the end of Shingle Hill--Bailey will be directly in front of you.

BENHAM HILL ROAD FIELD: BAILEY SOFTBALL--Follow directions to Bailey Middle School. At Morgan Lane take a right and then a quick left (Benham Hill Road). Go straight on Benham Hill Road until you reach the Ora Mason Library on your left. Field is behind the library.

CARRIGAN  SCHOOL (2 Tetlow Street; 937-4390):

From I-95 South: Take Exit 42 (Saw Mill Road). At the end of exit take a right onto Saw Mill Road. Take a left at the next light onto Meloy Road. Continue on Meloy Road until it ends (Route 1). Take a right onto Route 1. Proceed to 4th set of lights--take a left onto Fairfax Street. Take first right (Tetlow St.)--School is at the end of the road.

From I-95 North: Take Exit 42 (Saw Mill Road). At the end of exit take a left onto Saw Mill Road. Take a right at the next light onto Meloy Road. Continue on Meloy Road until it ends (Route 1). Take a right onto Route 1. Proceed to 4th set of lights--take a left onto Fairfax Street. Take first right (Tetlow St.)--School is at the end of the road. To print click on file
