2016-2017 School Climate Surveys now online
The 2016-2017 School Climate Surveys, including a WHHS Athletics Climate Survey, are now open for parents, students and staff on our school websites. The state mandates that all school districts in Connecticut must administer a School Climate Survey. The district is requesting that parents, students, teachers and staff complete our survey, which was developed by the Connecticut State Department of Education. The survey will collect information in areas such as school practices, safe environment, family/community partnership, and more. Parents, please fill out one survey for each school your child(ren) currently attends. The survey should take you only a few minutes to complete. We encourage you to fill out the survey online. If you do not have access to the internet, please request a hardcopy from your school principal to complete and return. All answers will be kept confidential. All information will be used to improve our schools for our children. Thank you for participating in this School Climate Survey. Your response is greatly appreciated.

WHHS senior sets example for all students
Introducing Flor, a WHHS student who "starred" in this week's district-wide all-call and had perfect attendance last year. She knows good school attendance helps with grades, making friends, feeling comfortable at school, and having a positive academic experience. She's pictured here with Superintendent Neil Cavallaro and is aiming for another year of being in school each and every day.
