Food Truck Festival Sunday at WHHS
The second Food Truck Festival sponsored by the Alma E. Pagels Elementary School PTA will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the WHHS courtyard.  Admission is free, and the event is open to the entire West Haven community. There will be more than 14 food trucks and an array of bounce houses for children in the WHHS courtyard.  The trucks will serve a variety of different types of foods, including American, Mexican and Peruvian fare. There will also be many local vendors and artisans selling crafts and clothes, as well as a special Pagels School tent with Stowe’s famous clam chowder. Additionally, WHHS girls soccer team members will be running children’s activities and games. All proceeds from the food truck festival will go directly to the students at Pagels.
Families need to update student registration
The district is again using the online registration system Infosnap to update returning student and family information. Families have received log-on information (known as a snapcode) from school about accessing and updating their accounts. (Some letters were sent home on the first day of school, and others arrived in the mail. If you did not get one, call your school's main office.)
Click here to access Infosnap and enter your snapcode to get into your account. En Espanol.
State's special ed survey deadline is Monday
Families of students in our special education programs should have received a survey in the mail from the state toward the end of August. The state has extended the deadline to take the survey to Monday (instead of tomorrow). The survey may also be taken online at the link below, but families will need the code received in their mailing in order to take it. If you need to check on your code, call or email Marcus E. Rivera in the state Bureau of Special Education, 860-713-6932 or marcus.rivera@ct.gov.
