The Shoreline Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) PAT Program is a free service for pregnant women in West Haven and East Haven.

Are you a first time mother or do you have other children?
The MIECHV trained staff understands…
-- Parenthood is exciting and stressful.
-- Families can benefit from extra support, especially during pregnancy.
-- Immediate needs such as housing, transportation and food need to be addressed.
-- A positive and nurturing environment is important for your family and baby’s health and development.

MIECHV’s home visitors provide:
-- Weekly home visits
-- Pregnancy and parenting information
-- Developmental screenings
-- Father guidance
-- Monthly get-togethers
-- Connections to resources in the community and access to baby supplies

Services are offered prenatal up to age 5.
Children whose families enroll in this program are more prepared for kindergarten.
