Students and staff gathered in the school lobby with balloons, signs and flowers to tell Angelique, who has cerebral palsy, the news and celebrate. But that wasn't the only surprise for Angelique. After she was picked up from school, she was taken to get her hair done, wear a fancy dress, and attend a "bon voyage" party at Mercedes-Benz of North Haven. Angelique, known as the "Mayor of Carrigan" who waves and chats with everyone she sees in the halls, works in the Cougar Cave school store and loves princesses and the color pink. The Carrigan community couldn't be more excited for her.
